As a trustee of the Pret Foundation, our founder plays a hands-on role in supporting homelessness initiatives, and through the KFC Foundation, we continue to champion young people and grassroots organisations across the UK. It’s all part of our promise: to build not just businesses, but brighter futures.

Royal Support for a Real Cause
Prince William’s visit to our Bournemouth Pret store in September 2023 was a proud moment for K&Z Holdings. It highlighted the impactful work of The Pret Foundation’s Rising Stars programme, which aims to support at least 500 individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness into employment over the next five years.
During his visit, Prince William met with staff and learned about our commitment to expanding the Rising Stars programme as part of the Homewards initiative. He was accompanied by entrepreneur and Homewards advocate Steven Bartlett, emphasising the collaborative effort between businesses and the community to address homelessness.
This visit not only underscored the importance of providing employment opportunities to those in need but also reinforced our dedication to making a tangible difference in the communities we serve.
